Our
Organization "Shree Shivratri Avam Utsav Committee has been active since 1992. The Organization is a family,and has its own constitution. The
Organization Members are of good moral character, utmost hard working, honest and are reverent in God, and are belonging to middle class families . The committee ,under the guidance of their seniors in the representation their president, performs social and religious functions in a very disciplined and enbound way
.
The Organization makes arrangements to festivate grand and enormous Religious Processions (Shoba Yatras) on the pre-eve of MAHA SHIVRATRI MAHOTSAVA & SHREE KRISHANA JANAMASHTMI with the co-operation of temples of city and near by villages, organisations of religious- places, educational-institution, social and other religious associations and moreover grand throng of Bhaktas, in which God's beautiful chariot is the centre of attraction.With the joint sharing of all the temples , the form of the Shoba Yatra becomes grand and tremendous . By urging the temples, the Organization cuases to be turned out to godly honour pronoucing songs sung in the morning viz . 'PARBHAT PHERIES'. in the temple-periphery in their own areas . On the dawn of the festivity day , the groups of Parbhat Pheris are made to gather in one of the selected temples to sing in praise of God , and the Organization honours them with distinction. All the political parties are invited in these Programmes (agenda) and they participate . The Organization represents the temples ; makes connection with their managing-assemblies and co-operates with the other associations .
Present youth generation is the carrier of the future nation .From the year 2006, SHREE SHIVRATRI AVAM UTSAV COMMITTEE [REGD.] HOSHIARPUR[PUNJAB] has organised Youth-Wing according to the constitution of the Organization. The Organization consecrates the youth wing by revolution of thoughts to prevent them away from the habits of increasing drug addiction among the young and vulgarity (indencence) . The Organization also speaks highly against the evils in the society so as to create in people the spirit of social-brotherhood and national unity. The Organization also cooperates in the other festivals.
In the big religious programmes,held in the city the Organization co-operates according to capacity and has been undertaking the performance of Community kitchen Distribution. (Langar Vitran Sewa ). SHREE SHIVRATRI AVAM UTSAV COMMITTEE [REGD.] HOSHIARPUR co-operates in the marriage ceremonies of the daughter of poor family according to its capacity . In 2007 the SHREE SHIVRATRI AVAM UTSAV COMMITTEE [REGD.] performed the marriage of a poor, helpless family daughter with complete ceremonial way , The Organization does not make this sort of jobs as a talk of the town. This way , the Organization remains keen to make UNITY(SANGATHAN) , CONSECRATE(SANSKAR) AND SERVICE (SEWA).
